Yellowstone bourbon dates back to the late 19th century and J. W. Dant, who produced what he called “Old Bourbon” under the Yellowstone label at the Cold Springs Distillery. The recipe includes rye, and the generous bottling strength affords the whiskey a nice amount of spice to balance caramel sweetness.
