Whisky Info

No. 7 is matured in a unique blend of Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, and red wine casks, delivering a complex and intense flavour profile. This use of diverse cask types imparts layers of dried fruit sweetness, spicy oak, and subtle hints of chocolate, and a nice fragrant edge brings balance.

Not a fan

This was recommended by a whisky buddy so I thought I'd buy a couple of pouches to try. To my taste it was overpowering with no finesse. Far too strong on the palette and finish.

Just add ice

This was a surprise, it went down a lot smoother than expected, great with just a little ice

Rich and Decadent

A rich and fruity dram. On the nose you get red fruit, burn toffee, plump raisins and warm date pudding. On the palate you get more fruit before wood spices kick in, before the finish offers lingering spice.

Rich and smooth

A lovely rich, smooth and fruity dram. Full of rasins with a slightly sweet finish. Excellent aroma.

A real surprise, great depth of flavour

A great whisky, with a slight sweet background.

The aging of the whisky in the Pedro Ximenez barrels can be seen in the dark colour and the raisin back notes.
