Abasolo is made from a mixture of malted and un-malted Mexican Cacahuazintle (kaka-wha-SINT-lay) corn, which has been cultivated for more than 200 generations by local farmers for its distinct flavour. Distilled in pot stills, this is a corn whisky like no other from the birthplace of corn.
