Why can I choose between 1 or 2 pouches?

At Whisky Me, we produce two pouches every month. One "Traditional" whisky (i.e. from Scotland) and one "Discovery" whisky (i.e. from anywhere else!)

Many of our members like both, and some like to just get one.

For gifting, everyone is working to a budget; so rather than force you to gift 2 pouches, you can choose to gift just one.

The lucky recipient will then get the choice of Discovery or Traditional, when they redeem their gift.

What is the "Adventure" plan?

At Whisky Me, we produce two pouches every month. One "Traditional" whisky (i.e. from Scotland) and one "Discovery" whisky (i.e. from anywhere else!)

The Adventure plan, is simply the name we call for getting both pouches each month.

What if I don't want to give 6 or 12 months?

Our Digital Gift Cards are a bit more flexible, you can choose between 3-12 months. See more here.

How does the Gifting bit work?

Gifting a subscription has notoriously been a pain in the backside.

We've tried to make this as simple as possible. Whether you buy a gift box or a digital gift code, you can choose the number of whiskies the recipient will receive each month, then the number of months that you’d like the subscription to run for.

Your Gift Box will arrive shortly after to the address chosen. We expect you'll want this delivered to yourself, so you can hand over the gift in person. However, if the person lives away; pop in the recipients address for it to be delivered to them directly.

From then, they'll get their lovely welcome pouch, along with instructions to redeem their gift. They'll own the account, they'll get the whisky going forward. Easy!

The recipient isn't too tech savvy, help?

If the recipient isn't too savvy, just setup the subscription for them! The Gift Box will come with all the instructions; just use their delivery details when you do so.

About the 8th of the month I start watching the postie making his rounds in eager anticipation of delivery of latest WhiskyMe dram.
Four months in and I'm happy to say it's been a good experience sampling whisky I probably wouldn't have purchased. They've all been interesting and the leaflet with the tasting notes is welcome too.
Now I keep the little orange pouch to the Thursday internet tasting. As an amateur whisky lover I'm intrigued by the fulsome technical descriptions of the distilling process. Each distillery seems to have an individual approach developed over the years. Half of it I don't begin to understand but it's quite pleasant sitting sipping a dram listening to the chat and enjoying their enthusiasm.
So far all the Whisky Me drams gave been excellent and I also bought a bottle of the KinGlassie 12 year old after the tasting as it really hit the bullseye for me.
My subscription was a birthday gift and it's a great present.

The mix of a novel dram like Hogsworth with a more traditional Loch Lomond was inspired. Charming presenting as ever!
